COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — Good Sunday morning! Another cold morning with frost likely, but we will warm up more this afternoon.

- FRIDAY: Increasing clouds, slight chance for rain late, high 74.

Clouds are moving in and we will remain mostly cloudy today with a high around 61. A few stray showers or sprinkles are possible today. Light winds out of the south today, 5-10 mph. Partly cloudy tonight with a low around 50.
Monday will be Alert Day for the chance of severe storms. We will have a mix of sun & clouds in the morning and temperatures will quickly warm into the lower 70s by the early afternoon. Isolated thunderstorms during the afternoon, mainly 3PM – 8PM. They will start popping up in Central Ohio and race down into South/Eastern Ohio as we go into the early evening. They will gain strength as they head into South/Eastern Ohio and this is the part of the state that will have the best chance of severe weather. Damaging winds, large hail, and isolated tornadoes are all possible. Winds will start out of the south in the morning then switch to the west 10-20 mph for Monday.
Tuesday will be cooler & windy. We will remain mostly cloudy with a few light rain showers possible. Tuesday we will start with temps in the mid-40s and only warm to a high around 53. Winds will be out of the northwest 20-25 mph and gusts 35+ mph possible…
