WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Winston-Salem State University is increasing campus security and limiting visitors following a shooting inside one of its dorms Friday night.
The university confirmed the changes as students returned to campus, many still processing what happened. The shooting happened around 6:30 p.m. Friday inside a dorm. Police found the victim inside a study room, hurt but alive.
