CHICAGO — Two people were shot during an altercation in Rogers Park overnight, bringing the number of people shot in the neighborhood this weekend to five.
Around 2 a.m., bystanders told passing patrol officers that there had just been a large altercation in the 1200 block of West Devon. Shortly after those officers shared that information with fellow patrol units, they reported hearing gunfire nearby.
The police found two victims at the scene: a 31-year-old man shot in the abdomen and a 29-year-old man who was shot in the torso and hip, according to CPD. Both were taken to St. Francis Hospital in Evanston…
