IPS switches to e-learning due to high rate of teacher absences

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Indianapolis Public Schools will switch to e-learning Monday due to a high number of teacher absences.

News 8 previously reported that Marion County’s Pike Township Schools and Monroe County Community School Corp. would have e-learning days for the same reason.

The Indiana State Teachers Association has planned a Day of Action at the Statehouse starting at 10:30 a.m. Monday. It’s one of several Day of Action events that the group has had during the 2025 legislative session.
