Hundreds head to Venice Shark Tooth Festival

VENICE, Fla. (WWSB) – For the final day of the Venice Shark Tooth Festival hundreds came out to attend the big event. The festival has taken over downtown Venice since 1992, so it has become a yearly tradition for many local families and tourists.

While eventgoers checked out cool shark teeth and beach themed merchandise from vendors, enjoyed live music, and ate food, some also stopped by the ABC7 tent and took Bob’s job for the day! Many became an ABC7 meteorologist, doing a special report in front of the green screen under a tent at the event, giving the forecast for the Suncoast.
