More Michigan snow on the way, even for southern Michigan

A storm system is going to bring its cold backside of the system through Michigan tonight and Tuesday. The precipitation will be snow at times even as far south as Ann Arbor and Detroit.

For most of us in Lower Michigan this isn’t going to be a big snowstorm. However, we have lowered our standards on what a big snow is given the fact it’s mid-April.

Here’s the radar forecast from midnight tonight to Tuesday evening.

The snow is usually mixed with rain at this time of year. This mix will be the case tomorrow, but at times it will be mostly snow. The snow will develop over the Upper Peninsula today. There is a winter storm warning for part of the Upper Peninsula…
