A 41-year-old woman in Florida has been arrested after she allegedly ran down another woman with her Volkswagen Jetta because she spotted the victim walking with her estranged husband.
Christdon Reese was taken into custody on Friday and charged with one count each of attempted first-degree murder , trespassing, and violation of probation, authorities announced. According to a news release from the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, on April 10 the victim and her boyfriend walked to a Circle K gas station in the 4900 block of U.S. Highway 92 East in Auburndale, Florida, where they purchased several items. The store is about 50 miles southwest of Orlando.
After leaving the store, the victim and her boyfriend were walking across Old Dixie Highway on their way to a friend’s house when the boyfriend allegedly spotted Reese, who drove past them heading south on that very road in a white Volkswagen Jetta…
