More Wawa stores closing this month in Philadelphia

Those looking to grab a hoagie in Philadelphia will have to look just a little harder within the next few days because a couple of Wawa locations are getting ready to fade into history.

Wawa closing in Philadelphia

Wawa has announced that two more stores in the city are closing for good this month.

According to WPVI-TV, Wawa on the 6500 block of Frankford Avenue will close on April 22nd.

The store at the corner of Castor and Tyson in Northeast Philadelphia will close just two days later.

Several Wawas have closed in Philadelphia lately

These two stores will mark the 8th and 9th Wawas to close in Philadelphia over the past several years.
