North Texas resident cinches $1M Powerball prize from March drawing

One Texan woke up f eeling like a million bucks after claiming the $1 million Powerball prize from a late March drawing.

The anonymous claimant is from Bells, located north of Dallas near the Texas-Oklahoma border. They won the second-tier prize for the March 29 Powerball drawing, purchasing the ticket at the Speed Track convenience store at 815 W. Crawford St., Suite 103, Denison, TX 75020.

The winning ticket had all five white ball numbers (7-11-21-53-61), but didn’t match the red Powerball number (2). While the anonymous Bells winner is feeling pretty lucky lately, others are testing their luck amid ongoing controversies surrounding the Texas Lottery and its operations…
