California Woman Wins Negligence Lawsuit against The Cosmopolitan

А woman from California has prevailed in a lawsuit against an MGM Resorts International property on the Las Vegas Strip. She has been awarded а $15 million judgment after successfully arguing that the casino hotel’s negligence led to her injury.

The Woman Slipped and Injured Herself

In 2021, Deborah Fenton was visiting The Cosmopolitan. On September 24 that year, she suffered an incident and ended up seriously hurt. A few years later, the woman sued the property, now owned by MGM Resorts International, seeking damages.

According to the lawsuit, Fenton, who was going to the venue’s Chandelier Bar, slipped and fell, suffering a severe injury. In the lawsuit, which was launched in 2023, the plaintiff insisted that she fell because of the “unsafe and dangerous conditions on the property., specifically water and glass.”

While the publicly available information does not specify the exact nature of the injuries Fenton suffered, it implies that they were very serious.
