PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Homicide detectives are investigating after a man was shot to death in south Phoenix on Monday afternoon.
Around 1:30 p.m., Phoenix police were called to a shooting near 24th Street and Baseline Road. Officers arrived and found a man who had been shot. The man was taken to the hospital, where he later died. He has not yet been identified.
Police say officers detained another man at the scene.
The area is shut down as homicide detectives begin looking into what led to the shooting. There is no estimated time of reopening…
