RSCVA to pay fees of families who had cars towed during volleyball tournament

The operator of the Reno-Sparks Convention Center has offered to pay the fees of families and other attendees who had their vehicles towed after they parked at the wrong lot during a volleyball tournament.

The parking incident occurred during the 2025 Northern California Volleyball Association/No Dinx Far Western Girls National Qualifier tournament held in Reno from April 11-13. The volleyball tournament was the second of three Far Western weekend qualifiers scheduled at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center this year.

The Reno-Sparks Convention and Visitors Authority — which operates the convention center — confirmed on Monday morning that it agreed to pay for the towing fees incurred by attendees who parked at a nearby private lot that the tourism authority did not own…
