A Tigard High School theater arts teacher is in the running as a contestant in the national America’s Favorite Teacher contest.
Tori Lee Scoles is one of 10 teachers currently in the running for the distinction, with the winner receiving a cash prize of $25,000, a feature in Reader’s Digest, a trip to Hawaii and a school assembly with Bill Nye the Science Guy.
