DEC announces additions of New York animals on endangered species list

NEW YORK (WBNG) — Several New York animals are now on the endangered species list.

The endangered species list had not been updated since 1999, so these changes give environmental workers a more accurate picture of the species’ situation. One of the species recently added to the list was the Atlantic Coast Leopard Frog.
