WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — New details have been released about the maintenance worker who allegedly shot and killed two men at the West Palm Beach complex where he works.
The Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office (PBSO) said that on Saturday at 3:02 p.m., deputies responded to the 3700 block of Nokomis Avenue in West Palm Beach after receiving a 911 call that two men were shot and dead.
When deputies arrived, they reported finding the two men lying unresponsive behind the apartment building.
The probable cause affidavit says that deputies began door-knocking to find witnesses or additional victims and found Erasmo Peraza-Ledesma, 64, later identified as the maintenance worker for the building, who was bleeding from his hands. When deputies entered his home, they reported finding a black revolver on the bed, five bullet shell casings, and a handwritten journal which said, “for police”…
