CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — A Cumberland County deputy sheriff is being charged for allegedly driving his on-duty vehicle at high speeds prior to a crash that injured a man.
Attorney General Dave Sunday announced the charges on Monday, saying 30-year-old Ian Greene was arraigned after surrendering to authorities for his alleged role in the crash that happened on April 15, 2024.
Greene, of Carlisle, is being charged with felony aggravated assault by vehicle, misdemeanor reckless endangerment, and summary traffic violations after troopers said he was driving his marked sheriff’s vehicle westbound on Trindle Road, and activated his lights and sirens before passing three cars at speeds up to 83 mph…
