Funeral procession for IMPD officer will impact traffic Monday

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The funeral procession for an Indianapolis police officer could impact traffic on Monday, the department says.

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department Officer Anderson Vilma died on April 3 at the age of 32 following a battle with cancer.

Vilma’s family says he lived his life to the fullest and he was able to “fulfill his promise to become a Navy Officer and, in the end, a police officer,” according to an online obituary…
