TAMPA, Florida — Two men have been indicted on charges of drug trafficking and firearm possession, according to the United States Attorney’s Office. Carlos Antonio Leon, a 29-year-old from Plant City, Florida, and Luis Fernando Aguirre Marin, a 29-year-old from Mexico, face serious federal charges.
The indictment alleges that Leon and Aguirre Marin conspired to possess with intent to distribute more than 500 grams of methamphetamine starting no later than March 2025. On March 21, 2025, they allegedly possessed the drugs with intent to distribute and had a firearm in furtherance of these offenses.
