The Pool ID checking seems to be a warm subject.
In the five years we have lived in The Villages, we had our Village Photo ID checked once while in a pool. It was an easy process and we appreciated the Rec Department employee being there doing the job.
An idea to help in verifying Village Photo IDs for pool users. Try a pilot program at a few pools. Have ID scanners installed at the entry gate to the pool. Then a Rec Department employee would not need to visit the pools as often. Yes, there will be a cost in having an access scanner at the pool gate with an electric lock to allow access for authorized users…
