TOLEDO, Ohio — Two people were arrested and charged Friday after allegedly keeping their five children in “uninhabitable” living conditions, according to a Toledo police report.
Officers responded to a west Toledo home in the 4100 block of Lewis Avenue around 11 a.m. Police had been called to check the safety of two toddlers at the address, who were described as neglected.
Police said the children, two of whom were listed as ages 1 and 6, were not being supervised, and the home’s conditions were described in an affidavit as “unfitting for human habitation.” According to the same document, five children in total live in the home…
