CANYON, Texas (KVII) — A recent report from the State Fire Marshal’s Office has revealed 149 fire code violations at a local museum, ranging from blocked hallways to electrical wiring issues and excessive storage of combustible items.
Museum spokesman Mark White acknowledged the challenges ahead, stating, “Our staff is still working diligently, inventorying, digitizing exhibits and finding new ways to have them exhibited in other locations whether on the lawn outside or in other WT classrooms or maybe other places around the panhandle, schools and other facilities.”
