AUSTIN, Texas — University of Texas at Austin officials are calling for reforms to the local justice system after a man was reportedly arrested three times in three days for allegedly assaulting multiple people near campus.
Aymen Labidi was arrested last week, according to an arrest affidavit. Authorities said Labidi, described as wearing a black suit, tie and white helmet, allegedly punched several people in unprovoked attacks along Guadalupe Street near the university campus.
One victim reported being struck in the face after Labidi allegedly pushed a bicycle into him, the affidavit states. Another reported being punched through his car window after honking at the suspect who had stopped in front of his vehicle at an intersection…
