Elementary school expulsion ban bill passes the IL House

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) — A plan to prohibit expulsions from kindergarten through 2nd grade passed the Illinois House Thursday.

The proposal would also require superintendent oversight on any K-2 suspension that goes above 4 days.
