Abandoned, burned Tucson Greyhound Park will be repurposed into soccer fields

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – It’s been almost a year since a big portion of the Tucson Greyhound Park burned down, but it will see a drastic change within the next few years.

The soccer academy affiliate of the professional German soccer team Borussia Dortmund will transform the South Tucson facility into soccer fields.

It’s a big transformation from the park’s original purpose, greyhound racing, which the city has not seen since 2016…
