Taylor Mills has become Spelman College’s 42nd Miss Spelman Pageant winner. Mills emerged victorious after defeating five other competitors. The pageant was held at Spelman College’s Sisters Chapel in Southwest Atlanta on April 13.
She shared her excitement on social media, writing: “WE DID IT. I am pleased to serve my college as the 42nd Miss Spelman College. ‘Your authenticity is your superpower.’”
Mills, a junior at the all-female HBCU , won with her platform of “Authentically Blue.” Through the motto, she strengthened her Spelman sisters’ ties to their esteemed school and encouraged them to express themselves freely…
