HENDERSON COUNTY, Texas — A 2-year-old child was seriously injured Saturday after they were run over by a lawn mower in Henderson County.
Henderson County Sheriff Botie Hillhouse said the incident happened on the east side of the county on County Road 4235. Deputies said a child’s family member was mowing the yard with a zero-turn mower. Then, the child ran toward the machine, grabbed the handle and they were run over.
Hillhouse said the child was rushed to a nearby gas station in Frankston area and then taken to a local hospital. The child was taken to the children’s hospital in Dallas…
