Kansas City man faces up to 30 years for firearm trafficking

A Kansas City man pleaded guilty in federal court to conspiracy and illegal firearm trafficking, including the sale of a handgun converted into a machine gun.

Antonio Manning, 23, entered a guilty plea before Chief District Judge Beth Phillips to charges of conspiring to traffic firearms to prohibited individuals and trafficking firearms, including one illegally modified to function as a machine gun.

According to the plea agreement, Manning admitted to knowingly joining a conspiracy to sell firearms to individuals prohibited by federal law from possessing them. The defendants trafficked at least 22 firearms to known felons or sold firearms converted into unregistered machine guns…
