ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — “Missing You” and “When I See You Smile” singer-songwriter John Waite will be performing at Hard Rock Live in Rockford in September.
Waite’s “Missing You” became a smash hit in 1984, dethroning Tina Turner’s “What’s Love Got to Do With It?” from the top spot of the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
His hit singles also included “Straight to Your Heart” and “Change,” and also performed “If Anybody Had a Heart” for the movie About Last Night, and “Deal for Life” for the film Days of Thunder…
