After two weeks of showing relatively little emotion, Xavier Davis — on trial for capital murder and facing the death penalty — verbally lashed out at those around him Tuesday in the courtroom.
He first shouted at Judge Brian Warren, accusing him of lying about his jailhouse conversations with a sibling, and bickered with his brother in a holdover room for inmates after jurors left for lunch. As testimony paused for Warren to admonish an expert witness, Davis turned his attention to the judge once more.
