Troutdale Man Killed in High-Speed Crash on Highway 22E in Marion County

A fatal car accident occurred on Highway 22E in Marion County last Saturday, claiming the life of a Troutdale man. According to Oregon State Police reports, Kasey John Fox, 40, was driving a Ford F-150 when he lost control of his vehicle, crossing the center line and striking the guardrail before hitting several trees off the roadway.

Fox, the sole occupant of the truck, was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash took place near milepost 49 around 3:35 p.m., and OSP stated that speeding appears to be the primary factor contributing to the tragedy. Subsequent to the accident, Highway 22E was closed for roughly six hours to enable a comprehensive investigation. OSP received assistance from ODOT during the time of the closure.

The aftermath of the collision resulted in prolonged disruption for motorists in the area as the highway remained closed while officials conducted their investigation.
