Soon-to-close Cheap Joe’s will be taken over by new art company

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — A new art supply company will be moving into the space left by Cheap Joe’s Art Stuff in Asheville, the company announced yesterday on social media.

Just last month, Cheap Joe’s Art Stuff announced on social media that all three company stores – Asheville, Boone and Charlotte – would be laying their pencils down for the last time. The art supplier, founded in 1987 by Joe Miller, will close the doors of each location over the next two months.

In the meantime, there will be sporadic sales at each shop as remaining inventory is funneled out of the store warehouse…
