A Massive 53-Story Building Is Coming to Downtown Los Angeles

The City Planning Commission gave a green signal for the proposal to build a 53-story residential tower in Los Angeles. The 710-foot-tall gigantic tower is set to be developed on the top of the shopping mall The Bloc’s parking garage. Once completed, this LA-based skyscraper will be one of its 10 tallest buildings.

The City Planning Commission approved the proposal for the 53-story tower on April 10. Designed by the Handel Architects, this building will be developed in Downtown Los Angeles. It will be a combination of The Bloc’s 12-story parking garage and the new 41-story tower.

Developed by the National Real Estate Advisors, this residential tower will create 466 studio apartments along with one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments. Parking will be provided within the existing building. The establishment is based at 700 S. Flower Street, 700 W. 7th Street, and 711 S. Hope Street.

Developers of the LA tower are planning to build a sculpted glass rooftop, which will have an open-air amenity deck. Whereas, the rooftop of The Bloc’s garage will be given the look of a landscaped amenity deck. It will include a swimming pool, a lawn for residents, and a fitness center…
