OMB Peezy was reportedly the target of a shooting outside a Raleigh, N.C. nightclub in which 20 shots were fired over the weekend.
OMB Peezy’s Sprinter Van Shot Up
On Sunday morning (April 13), gunfire erupted outside the StarBar in east Raleigh, where Peezy was performing, CBS 17 reports. Witnesses say the incident happened when the club let out around 4 a.m. Police tell news station WRAL that OMB Peezy’s Sprinter van was the target of the shooting in the parking lot of the venue.
“Once we got to the club, I would say about 4 a.m., is when we heard shots fired outside the club, and everybody pretty much ran outside,” a woman who chose to remain anonymous told WRAL. “We couldn’t really tell where the shots were coming from,” she added.
Police say around 20 shots were fired during the incident, which also struck four other cars. After being hit with gunfire, Peezy’s driver sped off, hitting other vehicles in the process. The van eventually came to rest in a ditch outside the club. No one was injured. Police are investigating the shooting as an aggravated assault…
