$7 billion in public transportation outlined in Virginia Department of Rail and Public Transportation Six-Year Improvement Program

SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – The Virginia Department of Rail and Public Transportation (DRPT) released their Six-Year Improvement Program (SYID) in which $7 billion dollars will be spent over the next six fiscal years.

The funds are designed to support programs that DRPT, alongside Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) facilitate.
