One man is dead, and one is facing charges in connection with a hit-and-run in Wilmington on Saturday morning.
Just before 12:15 a.m. on Saturday, April 12, police responded to the 5100 block of Wrightsville Avenue in reference to a vehicle and e-bike collision, according to a news release from the Wilmington Police Department. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene before officers arrived.
The bicyclist, identified as 57-year-old John Williams, was transported to the hospital suffering serious injuries, according to the release. Williams died as a result of his injuries on Sunday…
