Man’s lost college class ring found in grocery store bathroom years later

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG/Gray News) – A University of Iowa alumnus has been reunited with the lost class ring he wore with pride for decades after a curious grocery store manager tracked him down.

Wayne Shaw went to the University of Iowa from 1964 to 1968 before joining the U.S. Army, KCRG reports.

“Graduated in ’68. I was in the two-year ROTC program, so I was commissioned in the Army on the same day as the graduation. I was in business finance and insurance,” Shaw said…
