With Easter taking place this Sunday, North Texas is on schedule to have loads of brunches, church services and munchkins searching the grounds for eggs. Luckily, the recent surge in egg prices has abated some.
However, naughty Mother Nature is threatening to throw a wrench into outdoor plans for events like Eggstravaganza in Frisco and Vibha’s 19th Annual Kite Flying Festival in Coppell on Saturday and Easter In Turtle Creek Park and Pooch Parade on Sunday.
According to weather guessers, thunderstorms are predicted to start Saturday and continue through Sunday. Needless to say, such conditions aren’t ideal for hunting for eggs, hoisting kites or parading wet dogs…
