Kansas City man injured after Jeep hits parked vehicle on Interstate 35

A Kansas City man was injured in a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 35 in Clinton County after his Jeep struck a parked Chrysler, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred at 3:45 p.m. on April 14, just south of the 49.6-mile marker. The 34-year-old man was driving a southbound 2009 Jeep Patriot in the driving lane when the vehicle experienced mechanical issues. The Jeep veered off the west side of the roadway and struck the rear of a parked 2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser on the shoulder.

The Chrysler was unoccupied at the time of the collision. Both vehicles sustained total damage and came to rest west of the roadway, facing southeast. They were towed from the scene by Legacy Tow to a lot in Kidder, Missouri…
