Woman, who stabbed her estranged boyfriend she had domestic issues in the past over 50 times with the help of her sister, pleaded guilty

Texas – In a disturbing case in Texas, a 38-year-old Oklahoma woman, identified as L. Breuer, has admitted to viciously killing her ex-boyfriend with the help of her 34-year-old sister, identified as J. Cometsevah, ending a case that shocked both Texas and Oklahoma authorities with its sheer violence. On Monday, Breuer pleaded guilty to murder for the fatal stabbing of her 44-year-old estranged boyfriend, identified as D. Peeler, who was found dead in April 2023 at an apartment complex in Texas.

Breuer agreed to a 35-year prison sentence as part of a plea deal that was accepted by the judge just before her trial was set to begin. Her sister Cometsevah is still facing murder and tampering with evidence charges related to the same attack. While prosecutors stated Cometsevah has a deal pending, no details or court date have been publicly announced. Prosecutors say the sisters acted to kill Peeler in a premeditated act of violence. Breuer stabbed Peeler more than 50 times, leaving the knife lodged in his neck — a horrifying act her sister allegedly helped cover up by removing and discarding the murder weapon and other incriminating evidence.

Authorities discovered Peeler’s body lying on a deflated air mattress, covered in stab wounds to his torso and neck, inside the apartment complex. Breuer’s arrest affidavit revealed disturbing details: a jail informant told police that Breuer confessed her sister Cometsevah had helped remove the knife from Peeler’s neck, along with his phone and several blood-soaked items, and threw them into a dumpster. “The facts of this case were brutal,” Breuer’s defense attorney B. Cantrel said. “He was stabbed 52 times. My heart is broken for this family. I feel like my client got up there and accepted responsibility and I’m glad the case is over.”…
