Nevada Weather Alert: Spring Showers and Wind Gusts Hit Las Vegas Starting Thursday Through Friday

Las Vegas, NV – Spring winds and the threat of rain could make midweek travel in Las Vegas difficult, especially for those using Interstate 15. The National Weather Service forecasts gusts up to 23 mph on Wednesday, followed by a chance of showers and thunderstorms Thursday night into early Friday.

According to the National Weather Service, winds will begin increasing Wednesday morning, shifting from light southerlies to gusty conditions by midday. Wednesday’s high will reach 86°F under mostly sunny skies, but breezy conditions may impact visibility and driving on major corridors like I-15 and U.S. 95.

By Thursday night, a 30% chance of showers and isolated thunderstorms enters the forecast, with lows dropping to 54°F. Friday could bring additional rain before 11 a.m., with highs only reaching 67°F—a significant drop from earlier in the week…
