LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – A Las Vegas man was found guilty by a federal jury in a scheme to fix wages for local home healthcare nurses and for hiding a federal investigation while selling his company for millions.
The Department of Justice (DOJ) said in a release that Eduardo Lopez conspired to suppress the pay of registered and licensed practical nurses, who provided care to patients in their homes, in the Las Vegas area from 2016 to 2019. The wage-fixing scheme reportedly impacted hundreds of workers.
