SALEM, Ore. – Governor Tina Kotek held a press conference from Salem Tuesday, she covered a variety of different topics from federal to local issues, including Oregon college student visa troubles.
The governor began with opening remarks about Senate Bills, the importance of freeing up federal funds to the states for local communities, education and more. From there, she took questions ranging from wildfire preparation and recovery and how funding is imperative for that, as well as Oregon’s international students experiencing troubles with their visas.
