COLUMBIA, S.C. — Crews from the Columbia Fire Department responded to a house fire on Waxberry Circle Wednesday morning.
Officials say crews arrived at the scene shortly before 9:50 a.m. to find black smoke billowing from the eaves of the home. The fire, which appeared to have started on the back deck, spread inside the house, making its way into the attic, according to officials.
