A 25-year-old man convicted of drug trafficking was sentenced to 13 years and three months in federal prison Monday after he was arrested during a drug bust in Marietta.
Alexander Arellano, of Atlanta, was sentenced for distributing large amounts of fentanyl in the Atlanta area while possessing firearms, according to Richard Moultrie, acting U.S. attorney for the Northern District of Georgia.
Arellano was convicted of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute a controlled substance and possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime after he pleaded guilty to the charges on Aug. 29, 2024…
