HINESVILLE, Ga. (WSAV) – A stretch of Veterans Parkway in Liberty County was closed early Wednesday morning due to a tanker collision.
Hinesville Police Department (HPD) officers were called following a collision early Wednesday morning. According to reports, a hazmat tanker single-unit truck carrying carbon dioxide stopped at the railroad crossing on Veterans near EG Miles.
The tanker started to pull forward when a Red Bull delivery truck coming from behind swerved at the last second. The Red Bull truck then crashed into the railroad crossing signage. No injuries were reported.
