Police seeking assistance identifying ATM thieves

Toledo police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the men behind the November theft of an ATM from a Monroe Street bank.

Officers responded about 4:20 a.m. Nov. 18 to a burglary alarm at the Toledo Urban Federal Credit Union, 3053 Monroe. When they arrived, they found the ATM in the drive-through was missing. It had been ripped out of the ground.

Police also found a piece of heavy equipment in the back of the parking lot, still running. The ignition had been tampered with. Police believe the skid steer had been stolen from a nearby construction site…
