North Texas Storm Threat: Hail, Wind, and Heavy Rain From Friday Night to Early Sunday

Fort Worth, TX – Strong to severe thunderstorms are expected to impact much of North Texas from Friday night through early Sunday, with the potential for large hail, damaging winds, and heavy rainfall disrupting Easter weekend plans.

According to the National Weather Service in Fort Worth, the multi-day storm threat begins Friday night and will continue in rounds through Sunday morning. Areas including the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, Gainesville, Paris, and Killeen could see between 1.5 to 2.5 inches of rain, with isolated pockets north of I-20 receiving close to 3 inches.
