LUBBOCK, Texas — Only three counties in Texas remain completely dry, meaning no type of alcohol sale is permitted, according to the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission.
As of March 2025, Borden, Kent and Roberts were the only counties where no type of alcoholic beverage sale was allowed.
In contrast, 60 counties statewide are fully wet, meaning alcohol sales of all types are permitted everywhere within their boundaries.
