PAPILLION, Neb. (WOWT) – The man arrested in Sarpy County after allegedly kidnapping a pregnant teenager and traveling to Nebraska has been turned over to authorities in Wisconsin.
Gary Day, 40, of Arkansas, initially fought extradition. But in court last week, he waived extradition for out-of-state charges on two separate cases. He pleaded not guilty to two misdemeanors in Sarpy County court: contributing to the delinquency of a minor and false reporting. Those charges were thrown out
On Wednesday, he was extradited to Wisconsin, where he is charged with child abduction and child enticement.
