3 teens robbed at gunpoint in separate incidents Tuesday in St. Louis

ST. LOUIS — Three teenagers were robbed at gunpoint within two hours Tuesday afternoon in separate incidents across St. Louis, according to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department.

The first incident occurred at about 3:30 p.m. near East Prairie Avenue and North Market Street, close to Rombold Park in the Jeff-Vander-Lou neighborhood. A 17-year-old boy told police he was walking when two suspects approached him from behind and accused him of talking negatively about someone. The suspects then pulled out guns and announced a robbery, taking the boy’s phone, money, shoes and jacket before a third suspect pulled up in a black Ford Fusion.
